Any 4 star or 5 star hotels on the strip should be good bro like Paris/Bellagio/Venetian/the cosmopolitan/Aria/Ceasars/Mirage. It will be expensive to stay on the strip but it will be a less walk for parents and all the attractions are on the strip and the feel of las vegas is on the strip!

Your parents can enjoy - Bellagio water falls, Mirage Volcano show etc, Circus hotel also has some free shows. you can take a gandola ride at venetian.

If indoors are safe, the indoor shows like, MYSTÈRE BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, O BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL are also good.

 

But in case you are looking for social distancing, contact less checkin, to avoid too many people, airbnb is also an option but try to book that very close to the strip.

We stayed in MGM, Valentino, both are good and on the strip….look for something which is walkable
