Yep once indian central pwoer is diminished i would welcome the competition from TN. They will be a worthy adversary no doubt.

Its not a competition. That's the point.

Only inside India, states have to compete. Once outside India, they don't have to. They can cooperate and live well.

gawd, I hope India breaks soon.

He describes hiimself in the book as a communist.

That book is an Informative one but not at all accurate, I believe...

If neelam and kasu would have written their autobiographies in this manner then more explosive things about p.v would come into light....usually he used to be the one who always put a roadblock when high command decides to go for another candidate ani and he was a perfect opportunist to the core, his feelings always bordered on Brahmin supremacy,  ani I heard from one of the veteran minister from Inc who was a giant during 1969 movt and sadly he is no more!

There's no central bounty.

Dude we had people write books like "why i am not a hindu" and still work and live as professors in major universrities. Andhra and TG had great literature from lot of BC/SC/ST etc whether is its Joshua from guntur or Gaddar from Tg.

you have great people writing great books. Participate in great movements.

TamilNadu has normal people talking social justice in every platform. That's the difference. atleast  5 out of 10 in a random group of Tamils will speak about social justice, may be not as profoundly as Kancha Ilaiah, but according to whatever he knows.

where are the social justice advocates in this db. show me. don't say you are a social justice advocate, pls. to some extent, may be gnan_anna is. But still he hasn't said sorrrry for calling Umar Khalid a terrorist. hehe..

there's no serious discussion on social justice in telugu circles. Its simple.

that's what you don't understand about how economy works.

when you control the currency, you don't need foreign investments. They need you for them to get better returns, if you produce commensurate to the economic activity you triggered due to printing of currency.

you can actually chose which foreign investments you want, and which you don't. and ask them to fcuk off.

There is no one better advocate than me for social justice. You and your stupid complexes. Gnan-anna is one TG bigot. He said in the last thread "andhras got kicked out of TN". You have some sort of jealous hate against andhra - thats pretty obvious .

But i agree that TN a lot of people talk social justice - i met one and was stunned how informative he was. We just called for some job related thing and talked for hours and he was extremely happy to converse with me and so was i.

Fantasy em ledhu ba he was crafty enough to get himself prime ministerial position and his look east policy during his tenure is laudable one but he expected too much from Brahmin lobby at the centre but he fell flat as they gave him a royal backslap when he was fighting for his second tenure...

But his role as cm of United ap was short-lived but he tried to implement land ceiling laws only to impress Indira but watered it down halfway as he got coldfeet due to ultimatums from andhralobby ...he restrained another outburst from andhra lobby but that outburst got materialised when mulki rules was approved by highcourt of which he didn't have any control over it...

In short he had his plus and minus but his glorification is skewed heavily in popular culture ....

He was a crafty politician at best but neither an idealogue nor an inspirational candidate!
