Padmavat is way more beautiful, in its color composition, tonal quality, and consistent in set and costume design than the absolutely ugly Baahubali.

I don't watch all hindi movies. But the historical fiction movies they make are probably better than baahubali. atleast Padmavat was.

both were absolutely gorgeous. Baahubali can't hold a candle to the amazing visual effects in these films.

Aamir Khan movies konni baguntayi , 3 idiots was the last Indian movie I liked .  Such a good movie , india needs such gems

But the action , outdoor shots look worse than Bahubali , I bet the fight scenes in Bahubali look much better than this

I"m talking about movies that have grand visual set designs, both in graphics and in real.

Baahubali was ugly visually. And bollywood definitely does make better more professional designs than any telugu film can.

may be only Maniratnam can match Bollywood visually from the south among the older directors. and some malaylam film makers I don't know the name of.

younger directors with some experience may try to match bollywood in the future. But not Rajamouli. Just watch Padmavat, Bajirao mastani trailer and tell me how much of it was graphics..

Its vfx doesn't stand out. That itself makes it a million times better than baahubali.

can you think of a decent director writing a stupid scene where a hero has to climb up a mountain and fall into a valley, and not imagine how he would actually shoot this impossible scene without using 3d rate graphics?

what about all those desh bhakti movies in Hindi recently ra? were they bad too? I haven't watched a hindi movie in a long long time.

I actually don't remember the last Hindi movie I saw.. may be Khosla ga Ghosla or Being Cyrus.
