When will Rajamouli be laughed out of Tollywood for his idiotic movies?

may be only Maniratnam can match Bollywood visually from the south among the older directors. and some malaylam film makers I don't know the name of.

younger directors with some experience may try to match bollywood in the future. But not Rajamouli. Just watch Padmavat, Bajirao mastani trailer and tell me how much of it was graphics..

I'm talking about mainstream movies itself. Malayalam movies generally have very good visual design, even under constrained budgets. I'm sure there are some filmmakers who can make great movies if they had good budget.

I think I saw a Mammootty film called 'Pazhasi Raja' or something. It was beautiful. There's another movie that revolves around the first portuguese visitor to Kerala...

just saying malayalam is the only industry in south that has the potential to make gorgeous films. Calling Rajamouli films as gorgeous is just an insult to the word. They are outdated trash, not just in theme, but also in visual styles. The guy writes scenes like he writes for some serials and then has one or two elevation scenes with cringe music...  Its not cinema.

Just don't understand what Rajamouli is doing shooting films for over 2-3yrs.

bad planning, waste of resources. and in the end, we have a 3rd rate product propped up by relentless media campaign about how it is the best ever.

Bollywood films shoot max for a few months, because they plan months in advance and act professionally.

I can only laugh when people say that Rajamouli is better than Bollywood.

There must be many young makers experimenting with animatronics in Hyderabad right now.

but all the cash for making big budget films go to tasteless, visually talentless directors like Rajamouli.

I hope those young makers get to make atleast short films and push out oldies like Rajamouli out of the big budget movie game.

He is like a mafia leader, notice how it's the same team for every movie. His dad is the story writer, his relative Rajamouli is the music director no matter how past his prime he might be, almost the same producers for every movie etc. 

They ensure that no young talented filmmaker who's experimentative ever becomes a threat to them, and they have a pretty powerful marketing team and a horde of brainless NRIs who lap up every shiit they make with glee and promote it free of cost even if they have to shell out $30 to watch that cringe fest on the big screen. 

Telugu film makers are among the bottom most ones for a good reason.

Yes.  Marvel movies are designed to perfection, whether you like them or not.

SSR movies are like Transformer movies. All over the place in every department, including the vfx. Ugly to look at. cringe to watch. even 9yr old kids don't like them.
