1 cup urad dal soak for 5hrs 2cups rice items soak along with dal, ravva ite wash  while griding dal enough. Grind dal with ice cubes. I don't like to add any other ingredients. Fermentation is the key

put minapappu in water in the morning, at night put that in fridge. 

next day morning grind and mix it with idly rava, evening prepare idlys.. flowers lanti idlies ready
