they will mention in your job desc if its a remote or onsite. 

You can try convincing them for to wfh for a day in a week or for sometime provided a string reason like taking care of family etc etc.,

Tell your boss that you have some family issues or take care of kids.. health issues.. etc etc.. think of a good reason
