i dont beleive in any of that nonsense frankly. its just that these people are contradicting what seems to be a well establoished fact that kakatiyas are sudras.

Gona Ganna Reddy belongs to Vardamanapuram and he is the son of a King Gonna Budda Reddy who actually contributed in Ranganatha Ramayanam as Dwipada Kavyam in Telugu. He played a vital role during the rule of Queen Rudhramadevi in Kakathiya Dynasty.

Rudhrama Devi was the elder of the two daughters born to Ganapatideva, the emperor of the Kakatiya dynasty who ruled from Orugallu in Telangana. She was crowned as the Queen only in 1269 AD, after the death of her father. She got married to Veerabhadra, the prince of Nidadavolu.

Gona Gunna Reddy support to the Rudramadevi
As the people in our country were sexist then as well, many couldn’t digest the fact that a woman was ruling them. So there were few revolts against her rule from many chieftains in her kingdom.

Here’s where our hero Gona Ganna Reddy comes into the picture, giving all his support to the queen Rudramadevi indirectly and getting her all the wins in the wars.

Gona Ganna Reddy goes as a rebel against Queen Rudramadevi. She quashes his rebellion and eventually makes him her commander-in-chief for the army. Later, Gona Ganna Reddy won two big battles for the Kakatiya Empire and this is the story behind Rudhramadevi’s amazing rule.

After the death of Ganapthi deva, Rudrama Devi became the queen of the Kakatiya. All the sub kings (samatharaja) kings decided to capture queen. At this time Gona Gannareddy went under cover lived in forest, started cleaning up enemies who are inside the kingdom and attackers from outside as they all have to come the forest. He gave great protection to Kakatiya Kingdom, stood as a backbone to Rudhrama Devi. Gona Gannareddy played a vital role during King Pratapa Rudra ruling. He conquered Raichur and constructed a fort. He supported queen Rudrama Devi in every battle. Some named him as thief (until Rudram Devi announced him as the supporter of Kakatiyas).

One of his biggest fight against Lakkubhai in the Nallamalla forest, Gonna reddy reached them as devotees of Lord Siva and attacked the army. Later captured Lakkubhai Reddy and handed over to Rudhrama Devi.

With the help of Gannareddy, Rudhrammadevi won another war battle against Mahadevudu. This battle helped Rudhrama Devi become a powerful female warrior and ruler.

Rule
Gona Kings are the feudatories of Kakatiyas and ruled the Vardhamanapuram. Gona Buddha reddy and Gona Gannareddy are the great kings who helped to Kakatiya Kings. The main centres of this Kingdom are Vardhamanpuram (Vaddemin of Bijinapally Mandal) and Budapuram (Bhoothpur).[5] Gona Gannareddy was great warrior, he won every battle he went. He is also great ruler. His courage and honesty towards Kakatiyas gave him the highest place in the Indian history.
