I got an offer from pwc. I have some questions regarding the immigration, work and bench policy. Can someone please ping me if you have any experience working for this firm? Thanks!!

Work - Load bagane untundi. Sometimes multiple projects.

Immigration - Slow paced. H1 and stamping ki no issues usually. GC ki majority EB3. EB2 ante Sr. Manager or above undali antadu.

Bench Policy - IDK exactly but they dont let you be on bench at all. ;)

In general based on my experience and from near/dear buddies - they wear you out quite a bit. If you are having identity crisis in your current role ( as a contractor or FTE) - it is a good thing to  go to Consulting like PwC. PwC on your resume gives Big4 exposure which helps you get a client role easily. Soft skills aithe baaga nerchukuntav which is essential for your career. Contracting lo adi undadu peddaga. End of the year reviews are very wierd as your career coach, reporting manager, and client manager are very disconnected and you feel like some alien is reviewing your work :)

Travelling ledu ani chepte nammaku - that is their bread and butter, unless you are part of their dev center program.

  • Thanks 1

How about IBM? Any idea? Is it similar to PWC?

@MRI IT bro.

aithey no idea bro.. but the bold part is generally true. Reviews aithey, it is in your hands.. can happen with every company.. you have to frequently engage with them. document stuff and schedule some occasional 2-on-1s or 3-on-1s to keep aligned. After all, it is your career.. others don't give a damn..

Most of the Big4 are same. Cybersecurity practice lo aithe based on what I worked/saw:

Deloitte >> PwC>> KPMG >> EY

This is from a through put standpoint. That means work/life balance vishayam lo reverse cheyyali.

End of the day they are very cut throat businesses.
