temporary pushkaram directly end up in pockets of traders/locals. And also it is additional income as nobody will stop doing their regular productive work for pushkaram. This is 2000 crore is a den of casteism, dorathanam and waste of cement, roads, hundreds of conttactors valuable time over years. It promotes among people supersitition and wastes their money with ridiculous pujas all proffiting the racist institiion of brahmin priesthood. Ofcourse dora family already made a killing in construction itself.

How much mental gymnastics can you do to defend them

Most of the contracts for pushkarams go to the bogam batch who will launder it to foreign banks or in worst case go to Hyderabad with that money .  It's not a welfare program to reach the poor

Ofc some of the money in yadadri may to to dora or whatever but they did build an actual asset that will last generations to come.

1800 cr was the estimated but the so far 960cr was spent and was estimated will need another 200-250cr to wrap up. Only 230cr went towards temple renovation, remaining went towards temple city and other infrastructure (1900 acres were acquired as part of the plan), the infrastructure creation alone is worth it.

Cherry on top is that a 2000 cr reservoir(baswapur) as part of the kaleshwaram is coming up abutting yadagirigutta(actually can be seen from hill top) where you will see a lot of private participation in the form hotels and convention centers.

That makes even worse for what Andhra did by spending 6-7000 crores on pushkarams

Nobody will treat a temple as a asset exccept bogum specialist like you.

IAS Kishan Rao(government representative) is entrusted to oversee this project, he is the same person who oversaw prestigious projects like shilparamam etc and he explains how much money was spent so far

A temple historically - atleast for last few centuries - has been a parasitic institute on society. The people who build the temple including labor were not even allowed. Those who donated to temple were not allowed to be priests. The only insitution a temple really benefited is the racist brahmin priesthood - he wont lift a finger to build the temple but will immediately enjoy the benefits when everything is build outl
