blood, breed is a wrong comment. I dont he meant caste there , he meant his family but still it is completely wrong as someone participating in modern democracy.

Telugu cinema lo caste dialogues meedha nenu eppudo oka pedda post petta. Yes it is prevalent and horrible. Not only that - "chandaalludu" "chepalu patte moham (insu;ting fisherman caste)" - itlantivi chala vuntai. It is disgusting and must change.

What about comedies made on Brahmins and chicken eating Brahmins, their fart jokes??

Can anybody in the world dare to make fun of Islam or Paedo Mohammad and survive without getting killed?

thats different - they made comedy on chandasavaadulu. Most telugu cinema in 80s also showed zamindar as villians - zamindar is just 2,3 castes. I think you never met muslims properly - mulla jokes are dime a dozen. Even in christians too jokes on fathers and nuns are too many. People make jokes on priests  in all religions because its a very easy profession who live on more hard work of others. Did they make fun of a brahmin doctor ? i dont think so

Problem is that our sense of humor has been warped to begin with since time immemorial. 

Our comedy has evolved as something that makes fun of people for things they have no control over, it was considered funny to mock someone who stammers, or has an obesity condition as lazy, or people in some professions as those that can be mocked at. It's that sort of normalizing this kind of discriminatory attitude that make these jokes be perceived as "funny". I think that's what movie writers need to undo going ahead.

I agree but mocking priests is something that must be welcome and any educated person will do it by default,. IN fact taking priests too seriously is a danger signal of the society. Even in my family lot of my relatives have taken up jythotish and all that and i mock them very hard.

Not saying we should be disresptful but some comedy on such things is inevitable
