PMP
NO programming background
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Strong relationship skills – They will be asked to explain how they
have handled conflicts in the past
MUST BE brief and to the point.  If they ramble…their out.
Experience managing complete projects, from getting client
requirements to implementation.

PMP Desired (will look at non-PMP's with good matches on the other
items)
Has a PMP or substantial references to using the various PM techniques
like defining scope, creating estimates, choosing which PM approach to
use, managing cost and schedule, managing issues, boundary/dependency
management, risk, use of escalation, etc.
4-6 years PM experience
Project management involving business intelligence/analytics systems/
reporting/extracts, data warehouses, databases, data integration, data
transformation, dashboard systems, data exchange processes, enterprise
integration, unstructured and structured data,
Experienced with fast-moving and fast-changing work cultures
Experience with managing and working with small remote teams (virtual
teams)
PM experience with iterative / RUP, waterfall and hybrid project
management methodologies, with multiple projects with concurrent
scopes, customers, and varying timelines, extensive experience with
estimation and building project plans.
Self-starter, flexible, able to work without close supervision,
comfortable with managing uncertainty, works quickly
Strong in partnering approach, working in teams
Consulting skills re: liaison between IT and non-technical people.
Experience in managing relationship with customers, technical teams,
and executives.
Good at PM boundary management and communication
Comfortable with matrix PMO/development environments, able to get work
done through others
Experience with IT product development processes
Knowledge of health industry topics
Understanding of business process integration and the
interrelationship of IT / IM in enabling business processes and
deadlines
