Since you are saying temporary vehicle , I am including vehicles with good deals and high resale values. SUV's are bad deals right now

2021 Toyota Camry  - has some rebate , 0% finance deals .  

2021 Toyota corolla - another trouble free car with high resale.

2022 honda civic - all new model and has fantastic reviews 

2021 accord - same as Camry 

Avoid Prius , it's too overpriced for what it offers . Hybrid vehicle doesn't make sense for temporary vehicle since you are getting rid of it soon anyway. The minor amount saved through higher efficiency will be less than higher depreciation. If at all you are looking for a hybrid , totya Camry is better tha prius.

It's better buy new than leasing or buying second hand vehicles right now .

Sedans are decently priced and available , perfect time to buy them
