No that is what they didn't..they are still using earth dream engines... After lawsuit their incentive was to extend power train warranty

The extended warranty is only for 17,18 vehicles  I believe . 

From 2019 they changed the cylinder heads and design changes to the turbo to minimise the oil dilution to acceptable levels.

But it's true that engine will always have oil dilution issue down the road , honda doesn't want to fix it much because this is probably the last generation of gas engines .  It will be hybrid or electric only from next generation onwards

They are still using those same engines... Nope no change ..that is how they work... Oil dilution is side affect..changing oil every 5 k will save engine life ..

Just refrain from buying hondas for a while....

And hyundai's , subarus tooo ...

why this issue only on CRV? didnt hear anyone complain about Pilot

It's issue with Their  1.5 L earth dream engines....Civic ..crv..

pilots and Acura tooo use earth dream power train . But not potential problems like crv, civic still bad 

 

Hyundai, kia use direct Injection too..which is ultimately bad..
