Fun fact: The Nizam used the world’s largest diamond Jacob diamond worth 50 Million pounds as a paperweight in his table.

Unfortunately they lost their glory.

The Nizam had fears that the Indian government might capture his treasury, so he transferred 1 billion British pounds to Natwest bank in Britain. The money was disputed amount India, Pakistan, and the descendants of the Nizam in a British court. The court ordered to distribute the 35 million pounds fund to the Nizam’s descendants

Never knew these guys had so much of weath yet didnot develop thier state and only concentrated on their own family? I pity and feel  for the telangana people who suffered under nizam regimen. They could have done so much with their wealth to hyderabad state.
