went amish village guided tour...today...

i really admired their simple life style...

no electricity...

no automobiles..(only horse buggy, because they dont want to go more than 10 miles...)

no credit cards...or digital transactions...they buy everything with cash for their farming (ex: silo worth of 200k)

simple clothing...

every food they eat is...farming by them only ... (veg, meat, milk...etc)

every house has their own vegetable garden...

even kids also work in their own farm... (bit negative is they study only up to 8th grade...they fought for that in suprem court...)

 

Overall…they are living very close to the nature...

Their motive is "avoid technology which disrupts family"...

i think cash chesukune party...different...

actually...after finishing the guided tour...i was returning...and missed one turn..ended up in a street where amish people live and saw few amish ladies farming work..etc

they are just living life in their own way...we are just getting to know them and thier way of life...

visited some 5 yrs ago in Ohio after seeing some documentaries and reading some books. Was really amazed how they live. Infact @dasari4kntr cheppinatlu, I kinda felt jealous.
