Did anyone had issues with sister claiming rights on properties and wants to divide it to 2 equal halfs . Pelli appdu my dad gave what ever inlaws asked with dowry as well .

Its all dad earned properties.I am ok to have divided with ancestors property . Does my dads property not go to my mom if she is alive . Mom and my babai is also against the ask of my sister

When you are happily enjoying in US atleast you have a sister taking care of your sick mother be happy for that.

After the amendment of 2005 in the Act, the daughters are considered as coparceners and have equal right in the ancestral property as a son.

 

ancestors property lo equal right not in fathers property.

If your sister is taking care of your parents, she is fulfilling her responsibility as a child (girl or not)… are you doing your part?? 

If you have a girl and a boy, do you want to give your assets only to your boy and give just the dowry to your girl?

Its your parents property how ever they want to divide close all holes and take that ..

did your dad wrote a will ? 
 

yes or no 

if yes follow the will 

if no you , your mom and your sister will get equal share that is 1/3 legally 

if all the property is in your moms name than she can decide what to do  neither you or your sister have any rights 

 

how much is property value , if less than 5 crore give half 

If 10 crores talk  about 2/3  1/3

 

if more than 50 crores fight 

you will never earn that money being employed by others
