Mostly due to the pandemic  and some from demonitisation & gst affecting small and medium industries 

Poverty line ? Probably no because states usually provide welfare until they get jobs back 

Also one of the big reasons for pandemic affecting indian economy severely is the country does not have any stimulus package (outside of announcements )  contrary to conventional wisdom

Secondly, BJP is a crap party which always ignores southern states

It’s better to have some third front without this congress & BJP crap

All south ruling states can support this third front & they can rule the country but I know easier said than done !
