Chennai is a city where people can find work, duh! They don't have to go abroad.

No avg or even upper middle class city person can save as much money for reinvesting as someone in the rural areas who hold large tracts of land can. Plus there are traders who can rake in the moolah with next to nothing as living expenses. Being born in Andhra's fertile region must be a blessing.

Thats not borne with any facts. Punjab is even richer agriculturally. Bihar is blessed with ganga alluvial plains - excellet irrigation and even better railway infrastructure.Just look at railway network of north bihar.

And bihar  remains the poorest areas. nobody in chennai would move to KG area - even telugu people from coimbatore will not move to KG.

You know nothing about agriculture life i can tell that. what you have is some sort of prejudice  of KG area people and you cook up these myths to justify that,

Nobody moves to a place to do agriculture, duh! especially these days. Bihar agriculture was destroyed by its govt refusal to purchase the produce. Yeah Punjab is rich, and thats why they are able to afford to go abroad. Same applies to Andhra. Why are you offended by this simple truth?

more than half of Chennai slums are from Andhra. The language in north Chennai itself has a healthy mix of Telugu.

Punjabis go abroad to do odd jobs like people migrating from poor countries. Not like andhra who go mostly to ONE lucrative field. And morover most andhra people get jobs based on their interview performances and job performances - they dont work within themselves like punjabis do.

They were people who were there from long time. 40% of Chennai is telugu. Lot of rich people in chennai are also andhra.

No they are from villages. Many are poor. thats exactly the topic ra narsi ga. I think you dont know. Thats why i asked that @Ryzen_renoir that question. See the proportion of andhra people from villages in america and compare with kar and tn. There are distinct differences. Something happened in andhra which allowed a lot of people from rural hinterlands to move comfortably. The only answer is governance nad poltics.
