They don't encourage such conversations on the forum. you have no idea what Tamils talk about and do.

very few extremely politically active Tamils may hate India, but mostly their hate stops with saying 'no Hindi'.  They won't encourage anti India comments. You should try it sometime.

Yea thats a good question - how come SM krishna or karunanidhi or whatever couldnt do this. Most tamils and karnataka people i met here in usa- atleast half of them are from chennai or bangalore - infact more. Many are from brahmin caste only. Because they are from metros they generally speak english well and resent working with many telugu people.

So why did this happen with only telugu people ? and that too only in IT. in no other industry there is nothing phenomenal telugu p[eople are doing. And thirty years back representation of telugu people is pathetic in white collar jobs.

1% live in jublie hills ra narsi. They are not 1% - how many times should i keep repeating - are you really that thick ? the proportion of telugu pople who come from villages and poorer backgrounds significantly higher than comparitive states.

like I said, easy money from Agriculture. and network effect. Plus nothing to do in Andhra. so forced to move.

TN/KA are okay to work in bangalore, delhi and elsewhere and don't care that much about going to the US may be.

what's poor according to you? are those who end up in US actually poor, or call themselves poor?

there's nothing specially unique about Telugu kids landing in the US. plenty of examples from Punjab, Kerala having done it already.
