I already said 'network effect'. now you are saying the same thing under a dfferent name. awareness and support structures. duh!

there's nothing specially unique about Telugu kids landing in the US. plenty of examples from Punjab, Kerala having done it already.

can't believe you are proud of a lame thing like this. Telugu supremacism needs an upgrade.

Examples from punjab and kerala dont apply at all. Stop being so obtuse.

The network effect part is interesting. how is that network effect possible only with AP that too only in last 20-30 years. The undisputed fact is the desirableness of IT jobs in usa. Vast majority in any state in india when explained what the deal is will find it desirable. Then how come that netwoek effect came about only in AP. Does the polity and governance got something to do with it ?

Actually the network is rather hyped up. Many AP students act individually - apply like anyone else with gre scores etc.

As a matter of fact i dont like CBN now. But difference is see i see him as a man you see him as caste representative. I will evaluate and decide to like him or not - you will hate him anyway.

Yea thats a good question - how come SM krishna or karunanidhi or whatever couldnt do this. Most tamils and karnataka people i met here in usa- atleast half of them are from chennai or bangalore - infact more. Many are from brahmin caste only. Because they are from metros they generally speak english well and resent working with many telugu people.

So why did this happen with only telugu people ? and that too only in IT. in no other industry there is nothing phenomenal telugu p[eople are doing. And thirty years back representation of telugu people is pathetic in white collar jobs.

I saw Muslims and Christians from Kerala coming to US. I see non-brahmin and non Chennai resident coming to US

I saw people from remote areas of KA like Hubli and Gulbarga coming to US

why dont you consider Canada, Europe and Australia

you blindly neglecting fees reimbursement introduced by YSR, because of that every poor and backward people started studying engineering and medicine,  that's one of the main reason for flooding of telugu people to western countries started from 2005 till 2020 or now also

lol. nenu em cheppaka mundhey you are accusing me of insulting Telugu people, as if I'm not Telugu myself.

inka neeku counter ivvataaniki I don't want to insult others. I'm happy that Telugu people are able to do what they want to. Its a bullshit discussion. deeniki polity ki link esthunnav choodu, you have zero real life experience ani artham avthundi.

nuvvey chepthunnav, that AP students act individually. inka polity and governance ento...

I never said CBN - i said t he polity of andhra pradesh state - i even said EAMCET which was intriduced by NTR. Yes YSR continued the policies.

I am not denying there are zero people from those areas but if you look at the size of telugu peopel and its composition the difference is obvious.

Because we have lot engineering colleges with mere facilities , I mean with awful facilities. AICTE right now closing all those colleges. Other state people may have gone to middle east, canada, europe and Australia or South Africa. The only or one of the main reason we come here is for money, other state people could have earned money in different ways in different countries. That doesn't mean polity of Andhra Pradesh or TG

But  @bhaigan it is good you agreed that it was andhra governance that led to this.

obviously welfare is the key factor that pushes people out of poverty

you need to push them little bit that's what governance do

why did TN CM Stalin is giving 7.5 % reservation in professional courses for government going school children ?

But we didnt have that many colleges before 90s. People used to go to karanataka or TN. So thats a polity decision too which led to an explosion of engineering colleges in Andhra.

Engineering degree or MCA is essential to facialiate this. All that infrastructure did not happen magically - they were political decisions taken.

it not about poverty in general. It is a specific phenomenon of nice IT jobs for huge number of people frm AP/TG
