Hinduism is simple and complex at the same time. Krishna or Vishnu is the actually the GOD remaining other gods are demi gods who look after the different aspects of the universe. Demi-gods life ends but the main god is eternal. There was lot more advanced technology those days which basically becomes functional with mantras.
