it started with congress really - unable to defeat NTR TDP then they started these rumous that andhras are inherently caste or this and that. Morover they played the kapu community resentments very well following ranga murder. And also the general casteism is always there so the basci accusation sticks but a lot of masala was added.

Poltical power in united andhra was mostly with RS teddies they simply had no clue how to handle the sophistication/cine glamor that is coming through TDP. So they took the andhra angle/ cinema angle. Appealed to some local prejudices. also many kostha rival castes aided this - brahmins/kapus etc.

Andhra people are good at fast forwarded thinking. They sound very money minded for a typical rural TG and seema people. On that note, they just despise that greed aspect but in reality ANdhra people are just economically progressive.

surplus water

british established dams, bridges, railways....education, hospitals

activists who opposed god.

these things made them rich in thought process intellectually......whereas TG had to fight for lands, water, movies,...literally everything.

intelligent people are hated anywhere....

Thats correct observation but its not "money minded" like some mindless obsession with money. in andhra caste is more tribal and competitive. Its not about respect or status - few people try that. but for most what you achieve is important. This can make andhra people look a little pushy. But anyone would once they realize options money bring. Ofcourse many telugu people including majority of andhra people lack class as they are mostlyy rural people. It takes sometime to build up class.

Don’t make this a regional war now. I’m just trying to understand why andhra people are shown in bad light.

alagemi ledu vaa.. andhra people own the media and they give more coverage to their own people so daani valla ekkuva criticism unnatlu anipistundi. ippudu telangana media kuda mainstream avtundi kabatti you will see increases in criticism towards them as well.

Also in general OC population is much higher in andhra. In my region you will find entire villages populated either by Kamma or Kapu with one muslim darji, one or two brahmin familes and one or two komati. Dalits live outside of village. BC etc are not that many though they are there. This brings a lot of competitive behavirour among castes.

Poor people can have class but cheap people will never have class ani oka sametha…. I know big shot millionaires who have no class. It’s pathetic

ofcourse thats there. But manners can hide cheapnes to an extent. Look at western thellas - even if internally they are cheap thanks to manners they look classy.

most of the "telugu culture" you get to view in the media is through pacha cartel. db kuda pedda different emi kadu. if you want to know more about telugu culture, go to some telugu cultural centers (TANA, NATA anukunev, avi KG batches), museums, read in library etc.,
