End of discussion. You keep reservation while admitting to your second grade hierarchy in the society.

Because of people like you who look down on lower caste, reservation still needs to be there.

But, his argument makes sense no?

sense in foot. aa matram reservation anedi lekapothe.. em jaruguthundo chusevuntaru kada.

When Rama was ruling Ayodhya, a Brahmin approached the court and told everyone that his young son has died due to the misrule of Rama. Rama immediately called a meeting with all his ministers and enquired about the cause of this. Narada, one of the sages, told him that this has happened due to violation of a rule of penance. Narada informed him that someone from the Shudra varna, who are not allowed to perform penance in this Yuga, is performing a penance due to which the child has died. So Rama went in search of that person and found the place where Shambuka was performing penance. After confirming that Shambuka is indeed a Shudra, Rama killed him. Gods praised Rama for this act of his and congratulated him for protecting their interests and for not allowing Shudra to attain heaven. Brahmin's son returned to life after it.[1][6]

This is Rama..

what is this story leading to? Does this mean, if you believe in Rama, you have to accept caste hierarchy?

your anecdote (assuming Rama existed) doesn’t support your statement.

the meaning of dharma has changed over centuries… assuming this story is true, it is the responsibility of the ruler to make sure that everyone is following the law of the land (at that time) and abide by it and punish anyone who violates it…

now it is the responsibility of the current rulers that everyone is treated equal and everyone gets a level playing ground to fulfill their dreams and advance in their life..
