The battery system will be reliable for 10+ years and  it might need replacement down the line but you save enough  on gas to compensate for that

True. I’m now kind of seriously looking at EV. Just needs to change the way we think about cars and change driving habits but it’s time we get used to EV’s.

My ex neighbor used to have a Jeep Wrangler he brought some 10 years ago, said it still runs like new. I think he maintains it pretty well too though

most of Jeep wrangler guys repair and maintain cars themselves, that could the reason for long term reliability
