Application sent in first week of Sept...Got reference number on Sept10 saying application sent to NY embassy.

Been tracking since and it says

Your application has reached at the Embassy/Consulate and is currently under review process
 
 
No change of status since since sept10.
 
Anyone renewed their passport  recently at NY embassy (non-tatkal) had such issues?

i have sent my wife’s passport for renewal to NY on Aug 28th and today we received that it’s shipped back from NY embassy so looks like it’s taking one month time for renewals
