Tata's winning  bid is 18,000 crores .

The government will hold back a debt of INR 46,200 crores approximately. Only 15K Crores to be handed over to Tata. 

Air india received over  121076 Crores funding since 2009-10 

Air india loses 20 crores a day. No retrenchment for 1 year promised. Second year onwards VRS may be offered

If anything they lost like crazy during last two years . They have huge amount of staff who were paid each month for no work  and only operated few flights at slightly above normal ticket prices 

I would have loved to see their balance sheet for that period but govt doesn't want everyone to see their incompetence

This is  a sentimental decision for Tata group due to history . No one would pay this much for such a white elephant

Govt employees ni elaga manage chestharo ento , they are used to zero accountability how will they work under a management that expects them to actually work

nope. very cheap ga kottesaru TATA. just 1 year manage sesthe malli air travel resume avuthundi full pledged ga. actually car lu ammukodam kanna air lines operate sesukodam profitable for TATA in reality. margin ekkuva air lines lo comared to cars if they do same hard work
