I don't know. But quite sure that it will hardly make up for the losses. Air India is highly inefficient. Other airlines on average 130 crew/plane tho run chestaru. Air India average no.of staff per plane is around 275. Daniki thodu free tickets, recommendation tickets, profitable lines sold out by UPA etc. it's totally messed up. Thats why it took so long for government to privatize it. Glad that it went BACK to tatas.

No man, that’s a wrong assumption.

AI daily flights were in excess of 300-400 and during Vande Bharat, they barely flew 50/day. Imagine all those flights sitting on tarmac, parking spots, regular maintenance ETV especially when those planes are not making any money and Vande Bharat flights are not even close to reimburse what they lost during this time.

Every plane needs to fly for at least 8-10 hours a day to make money but AI’s 126 fleet was sitting idle for months and only 40-50 flights were flying. Imagine the losses.

No one is criticizing sale of air India ..it is actually other profit making sectors that modi government sold to Adani and ambani syndicates ..

 

Air India was long due for privitization but since it is name carrier of India and no one came forward it was pending for long..

 

Don't mixup the criticism of other sectors and favour them towards sale of air India ..this is what called jhumla..even faking the criticisms ..people are tired of this fake propaganda... 

And angry that the  murder of farmers,  bjp politician roaming free

who cares man....the idea is to turn India into capitalist economy like the USA ....that is what happening....so, now the politicians can legally take money from the corporates and the rich instead of doing under the table stuff lol ....Next stop health insurance, life insurance and other insurance free from regulation, then banking sector and stock markets free from regulation, transport privatization, land privatization.

High Salaries , huge number of employees who cannot be fired , corruption in maintenance , purchasing, catering  contracts  etc 

 everything that's wrong with a government office is present in india . 

Ofcourse BJP is also not devoid of blame here , they were also very incompetent in running air india .
