If those 2000 votes didn't come out soon the economy would have been in deep recession by 2017 itself

I don't disagree that 2000 notes are bad but there was an immediate need to remonetize as soon as possible . 

They did a panick move to save the economy , ideally they should be withdrawn

am no speconomist - but I felt it was stupid - at least govt did not provide an alternative (paytm is private) - ok even after months n years, respectable pm did not even had the sense to come in front of people/media and tell them what was achieved by his so called boldest economical move
