@Kool_SRG why they are not putting Q next to GT. 8 wins confirms playoffs right? Inka doubt unda?

16 points don't confirm you Playoffs berth... There are many other teams which also can make it to 16 points..

Say what if GT get stuck on 16 and NRR dips and drop out of Top 4 ?? Anthuke not mentioned..

If you see even CSK winning all 6 games remaining can take them to 16.. Except MI all other teams still have mathemetical chance of getting to 16 points.

Gujarat Titans (1st, 16 Points): Top of the Points Table, Gujarat Titans have 16 points from 9 matches, having lost just one game. Hardik Pandya have all but confirmed their playoff spot and will now aim to finish in the top two to avail the advantage of featuring in Qualifier 1.

GT have confirmed their place in the playoffs with 8 wins. They will now aim for a top two finish in the league

GT’s remaining matches: PBKS, MI, LSG, CSK, RCB

Rajasthan Royals (2nd, 12 Points): Sanju Samson’s RR side remains one of the favourites to qualify for the playoffs despite their five-wicket loss to strugglers Mumbai Indians on Saturday. Royals need only two wins from their remaining games to make the Top 4.

  • RR need to win at least two in five remaining matches to seal their deal.
  • RR boosted their NRR with a 29-run win against RCB. They have the best NRR among the current Top 4 and the second-best in the league.
  • RR Remaining Matches: KKR, PBKS, DC, LSG, CSK

Sunrisers Hyderabad (4th, 10 Points): After Lucknow Super Giants’ 20-run win over Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad slipped to 4th with 10 points. Their 5-wicket loss to GT ended a 5-match winning streak. But the Playoff berth is still within reach. All SRH have to do is to win three out of six matches.

  • SRH need to win at least three matches out of the remaining 6.
  • SRH’s remaining matches: CSK, DC, RCB, KKR, MI, PBKS

Lucknow Super Giants (3rd, 12 Points): KL Rahul & Co jumped to 3rd spot with a 20-run win over Punjab Kings. They are now in touching distance of the Playoffs. LSG have 12 points in 9 matches. All they need to do now is to win at least two matches out of the remaining 5 matches to QUALIFY for playoffs.

  • Win two matches out of 5 to qualify.
  • LSG can also qualify with 14 points or a win in 5 games but it will depend on other results.
  • LSG Remaining matches: DC, KKR, GT, RR, KKR

Royal Challengers Bangalore (5th, 10 Points): Faf du Plessis’ Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have registered 5 wins in 10 matches. However, the three-time finalists have hit a rut with three consecutive losses, the latest coming in the last over against Gujarat Titans. The franchise have made life difficult for themselves and will hope that result go their way in the latter half of the tournament.

  • RCB need to win at least 3 matches out of 4 to qualify.
  • But the three wins should be with good margins as RCB have a negative Net Run Rate of -0.558.
  • Two wins may not be enough for RCB as every loss will decrease the NRR further.
  • RCB Remaining Matches: CSK, SRH, PBKS, GT

Delhi Capitals (6th, 8 Points): Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) received a major boost after their 4-wicket win over KKR on Thursday. With 8 points, DC are 6th and if they win 4 out of 6 matches, DC will qualify for the playoffs.

  • DC need to win at least 4 out of 6 matches to seal playoff berth.
  • They can still qualify with 3 wins or 14 Points but it will depend on other results and NRR.
  • DC Remaining matches: LSG, SRH, CSK, RR, PBKS, MI

Punjab Kings (7th, 8 Points): Punjab Kings suffered a 20-run loss to Lucknow Super Giants after they failed to chase a modest 154. That was a massive dampener as Mayank Agarwal & Co will now have to win at least 4 out of five matches to qualify. PBKS are 7th with 8 points.

  • PBKS need to win 4 out of 5 matches to qualify for playoffs.
  • They need to improve their net run rate as PBKS have an NRR of –0.470.
  • PBKS Remaining Matches: GT, RR, RCB, DC, SRH

Kolkata Knight Riders (8th, 6 Points): Shreyas Iyer & Co’s playoffs hopes were further dented after their 4-wicket loss to Delhi Capitals. It was their fifth successive loss and they will need the miracle of last season. KKR will have to win all of their last five games to qualify.

  • KKR need to win at all of their 5 remaining matches.
  • With four teams locked in at 10 points each, they may not be able to qualify with 14 points.
  • DC Remaining Matches: LSG, SRH, CSK, RR, PBKS, MI

Chennai Super Kings (9th, 4 Points): R Jadeja doesn’t seem to be enjoying his captaincy as he has failed to carry MS Dhoni’s legacy in IPL 2022. CSK have managed only 4 WINS in 8 matches. They need to win all their remaining games to enter the playoffs.

  • CSK need to win all their remaining matches to qualify for Playoffs.
  • They can also qualify with five wins but a lot will have to go in their favour.
  • CSK Remaining Matches: SRH, RCB, DC, MI, GT, RR
