Bathukuamma festival

This video is a nostalgia for people of Telangana who has rural ties.. The grand culmination of bathukamma , towards the evening the whole women folk of the village move towards one place carrying the bathukamma(floral arrangement, usually to a place near a water body, then song and dance until the nightfall.

Also Bathukuamma is not just made with any random flowers, but tangeda puvvu and gungu, which helps the floral arrangement float on the water

Thanks for posting this ba. Childhood gurthochindi. I used to walk with my mom almost 2 kms on sadhula bathukamma

Yes, you are correct , Durgashtami which is two days before Dussehra is the culmination. Navami is the day before Dussera which is the 9th day (we don’t do much) and Dashmi is the 10th day which Dussera or Vijaya Dashmi. I have mistaken 9 nights of bathukamma to conclude on nava ratri

School la unnappudu .. chinna bathukamma nunde maa nanamma thoni gongupula kosam every morning pothunde.. just day before pedda bathukamma thangedu Poola kosam pothunde fresh undalani.. pattukuchhu Lu mostly polala pakkana poosthunde evaro okaru isthunde.. inti enakala gowaramma ki use chese puvvu n aaukula chettu unde..

pedda bathukamma ochindhante G pagala majaa untunde.. aallu aaduthunte pakkana patakalu kaalchudu..

yes baa..aaa rojule veru asalu..pedda bathukamma roju unde hulchul, majaa super..family friend anda vada vallatho ground ki poi vallu bathukamma adudu..manam ground mottm atu itu tirugudu friends tho..school ammayilu ground lo manchiga pattu langa eskoni kanipiste site kottudu..recent ga 2019 lo celebrated Dasara ma oorlo..enjoyed a lot!
