Most democrats states are still continuing Unemployment benefits so people are choosing not to work. Every state has massive worker shortage nowadays .

it's not the lack of jobs , it is the lack of well paying jobs

Go and look up which states contribute how much to central tax and which states are begging bowl of US 

Except a few states , all the bottom ranked US states are republican controlled . They may appear good on some cherry picked  stats but most of the red states are leeching of blue state tax money
