oci card validity

do we need to apply for new oci card whenever we renew kids passport.

wondering which one to apply Indian visitor visa or OCI card ?

no need to re-apply. only update the new passport info. and new picture.

good to know .. as I was not aware of this .. passport renew cheyisthunna for my daughter .. i thought I have to apply OCI again ..

any idea, how long will it take to renew ? will they send new OCI card ?

Yes, don't send any originals. You can try in person appointment if it is nearby
