That's the actual theory. and has relevance too. Modern day Telangana ki land between the three Shaiva kshetrams ki chala relevance vundi...

as per history nizams kakateeyas chalukyas and some other kings ruled tg region.. kakateeyas time lo telangana word usage gurunchi ekkada ledhu as per my knowledge so it was probably used during nizams.

but languages were identified by their geographic locations. ipudu kuda ade jarugutadi..

@Pulkapresident For your reference, India la chala historical and ancient places vunayi. okasari vaati naming criteria ae basis mida jarigindo chudu. After the name of the king or dynasty, geographical feature or significane etc.

Anthe kani, not even a single region was named after a language they speak. Ancient India ante not before 1956 but too ancient...before the advent of Mughals and British.

Modern India lo states, other than the states named after the languages are also based on their gepgraphical feature. Historical demand for Uttranchal, is a geo feature. So is Jharkhand and Chattisgarh, Telangana.

Gujarat should have been Kuchh and Saurastra but vaatini kalipesi Gujarat chesinaru. and naturally Gujarati identity create ayindi. Same with Marathas. Konkani,Maratha and Vidharbha were merged to form Maharastra but technically Maharastra did not exist. Linguistic basis mida name chesinaru...infact all southern states 1956 tarvate ila name chesinaru.

Since, we were Madras state then, alaa vachi vuntadi. see, even I'm more interested to know where this Telugu came from or the NAME Telugu came from or is it Telangana  that came from Telugu. Just pointing my observations out. Finally, we all need the answer, right? btw, this is the first time I partially agreed with that guy; because I go by my logical thinking & experience. Yes, I might be wrong too and I've no bars to admit I was wrong.
