The fix I put in place is successful and going to take care of the issues we have been having for the past 2 days.

Why talking in third person? Active voice always sounds more effective in communication. 

I fixed a couple of jobs that were failing over the past few days.

"We have two issues that were consistently failing for last two days. Its fixed now"

 

( Use the word of emphasis at the end) which is fixing in this case. And be elaborate about the problem so that they know magnitude of the issue.
