@Pulkapresident found this when I wasn't even trying. That's our culture anta

 For example, for a high-context culture such as India’s, people tend to speak in the passive voice, whereas in North America people use the active voice.

I know it's hilarious, even in IITs, they don't use active voice in abstracts. I gave a talk at one of the IITs recently, I sent them the abstract of my talk. The HOD emailed me asking to change my abstract to use passive voice, lol.

India ane kaadu, generally using active voice is frowned upon in non STEM circles. Some European countries lo kuda even STEM related writing lo they ask us to avoid first person.

I see some LinkedIn profiles lo about me is written in third person, she has good interpersonal skills, she is a team-player blah blah blah. It sounds hilarious IMO, she has good interpersonal skills ani evaru cheptunattu anukovali chadivina vadu
