Get Fire TV 4k, $25 now. you can customize entire UI including wallpaper of your choice.. block all the background running amazon apps to be super duper fast, install retroarch and buy a bluetooth controller for kids to play the games we used to play as kids (like super mario).. on top of it (others might have caught up, not sure) you can use the same remote to turn ON / OFF the TV, volume control...
