New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Devon Conway has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup final on Sunday against Australia, and the subsequent India tour with a broken right hand. Conway sustained the injury when he struck his bat just after being dismissed in the semi-final against England in Abu Dhabi. An X-ray on Thursday confirmed "a break to his right hand fifth Metacarpal".

Its a Self Inflicted blow... Infact surprised he sustained injury to such extent just bcoz of this..

You will be surprised how fragile the finger bones are. when you punch someone hard enough on the face you are almost guarenteed to break bones in your hand than the skull

The Gloves have decent amount of padding bro since its needed to be guarded against ball coming at you during batting poor Conway seems to have over done in the split moment leading to injury..
