The MG Astor is available for pre-bookings at an initial token amount of Rs 25,000. The carmaker aims to deliver 5,000 units of the MG Astor within this year. MG also announced that the pre-bookings for 2022 are now open on its official website as well as at its dealerships. The MG Astor rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun in India and is priced at Rs 9.78 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The car itself is meh according to reviewers except it's cheap and has lot of features  

In comparison the  costlier rival skoda/ Volkswagen kushaq has 20 k bookings

They stopped prebookings. For whole year ante? they accepted it only on october 21. 2months lo how many can they produce of one brand new model.

I initially was bought in by the anti national sentiment

But think with the brain and you realize the value for money this company offers

I see them making it into top 3-4 in the next 5 years with their model lineup

also SAIC the parent company has solid cash reserves and global presence

Nee thalakayilera - i have not seen anyone dedicated to falsehoods like your are. Skoda 20,000 preorders came over many many months. Not in 20 minutes like MG, Here it got 6k bookings over one month,
