Doing it in TG, which used to barely have 1 crop is achievement...

In AP 3 you get 3 crops without much effort.

 

I don't know if the cost to pump water is worth or not...also, they should seriously do other crops not just paddy...there is more money and less risk . There is no demand for so much paddy...most going to gutter after storage

If they cultivate other commerical crops, they don't need to beg like this

I am saying the increase in production is the same. Not actual production.

Langa dora spent a lot and his actual achievement is same as sendraal.

Its like telling a cardiologist to become nephorlogist this year because demand is not there for cardio and change to cardio next year. How can a vari farmer grow fruits.

TG, the cost equation does not workout. 

Rythu Bandhu, Electricity, Subsidies, Fertilizer and urea subsidies, crop loan interest rates, ivann ichi malli 1600 rupees petti procure cheyadam anedi going against fundamentals...

It's just matter of time before the trade collapses...at the most 3-4 years.

Not a good analogy...

Most farmers know how to do multiple crops.. That's why TG gov did try to say who should grow what...they tried to tie that to raithu bandhu also.   Requested few not to grow paddy... of course implemention is difficult. 

It's open fact that there is too much paddy and wheat and no demand... It's been the case for years.

Punjab- it's a looting of government, grow wheat and get assured amount no matter what demand is there or not. It's been going for decades....even in 1990s they used to give away wheat for throw away prices in ration shops...ask 1990 kids

There is no too much paddy at all. If you look at RBi stats it increased by only 11% in 7 years. Indian population roughly grows by 1-1.2 last decade. So paddy matches population growth. Its possible TG variety of par boiled rice has less demand. But there is no glut of paddy.

Ration shops wheat giveaway needs ration shops to exist in the first place which are there only in south indian states.

Govt must focus on network to distribute the grains to poor. There are enough mouths to feed.

TG has become a progressive state with all around over the bar performance…. Telangana people deserved their state and feel proud of it forever.

In case of paddy, problem of plenty is the new problem for TG, and it can get past that easily. These are political dramas of both TRS and BJ P…. don’t get too emotional.
