Small steps towards large scale impact.

We are currently building our proof of concept with 300 farmers near Telangana, India. We have 1500 farmers enrolled in our program today and are gearing up to deliver our solution at scale.

Middlemen lekapothey smallest to small scale varaku edo oka laaga work out cheyochu...other than that, motham biscuit ayipotadi.

Middlemen have a bad image in India and of course, that's how they prowled on farm commissions. But, cutting out middlemen ante restricting the access to markets. Cutting out the middlemen ante farmers must assume a bigger role other than just being a farmer who will jeopardize the farm quality and output.

Middlemen if do business ethically..that is the optimal supply chain route..compared to large scale buildup.

You know before the concept of "fair trade", everywhere it was the same scene.

Oka equation ga chusthe, producers/farmers should get 20% of the final market sale. For example, a basket of tomatoes if being sold for $10 retail, Farmer should get $2. The $8 margin in between should be shared by middlemen, wholesaler and retailer. Idi chepalante chala fair considering the investments by middlemen like logistics, cold storage etc.

India la middlemen invest cheyaru, they just trade and keep the margins. Instead, if they can invest some part of their commissions on recurring basis, their actions can be justified.

Ipudipude ie middlemen kastha storage, transport and inputs mida kastha investments pedtunaru and change is visible...but cutting out these middlemen ante kotha market chusukovadame..

Na manager at my first job, left his lucrative career to start an organic farm in Haryana. Fairly successful, introduced co-operative farming, modern techniques etc and ran his organic farm for 4 years. oka 10 people from IBM, Cogni, Accenture etc left their jobs and started this venture, initially supplied to ITC and had their own outlets. 2016 lo start petinaru.

2020 lo wind up chesi, they all joined back in jobs again and the farm is now a weekend resort.
