Last minute distribution and last year performance, are not the same. Paisal teesukuntaru kani vote matram vallaki istamochina vallake vestaru. Huzurabad 2021 is a classic example.

I'm not talking about money distribution. If that's the case, TDP will stay in power for ever. Pasupu-Kumkuma is a classic example of "How not to spend money before the elections".

Memory is short lived. Final year la momentum adds up to winning capabilities if not the sole winning factor. Look at TDP, 5th year was disastrous although first 2-4 years somehow managed with positive word of mouth and expectations.
