canada is awesome if you are entrepreneurial. especially in hi-tech sector. and if you don't listen to the entrenched vc assholes in Canada who suck up to their US masters.

if you wanna job, go to US. they hire in 100s of thousands there. they got lots of useless padding fields that their govt allows to exist. many many bs jobs in US.

lol. all sectors. they atleast let you stay on a visa if you have a product that you can sell.

but VC activity is quite marginal in Canada, because of many restrictions on exits and mergers of local companies. So most Canadian entrepreneurs shift to the US.. also because the market is super huge compared to Canada.

but it is possible to build a solid enterprise product or health startup or whatever from Canada.

US is obviously best. but if you can't make it to US, Canada is not that bad for entrepreneurs. again, the business shouldnt rely too much on VCs. VC activity is almost non-existent or a terrible copycat of the US.

Better to live in Canada, than cut off from the rest of the world in Australia/NZ. and ofcourse better than India.

but if you are a serious entrepreneur, you would go to China now. Not even to the US.

may be even in India. but I find India to be a distasteful country of sick people many who need serious mental treatment for bigotry. so I would suggest China/US/Canada in that order. Inspite of overbearing Chinese nationalism, they are better than dealing with mouth breathing assholes in India.
