Its about reducing the financial burden on the family as these elders are considered bread earners in the family. Pedda karchu ayye panulu emi pettukokunda financial ga settle avvadaniki adi. Sending a girl out to another family is also lessening burden. Appatlo inta katnalu kotlu kotlu pelli karchulu undevi kadu.
