Anyone travelled through CMB?

Most Qatar airlines are cheaper connecting from CMB (Colombo, SriLanka).

Anyone have experience in connecting at CMB airport?

long long back okasari travel chesina...HYD-CMB-DXB-LHR........

used to be a super popular route to Europe, Srilankan Airines was part owned by Emirates back then and CMB used to be a sub transit until Dubai and tickets were so cheap so that people used to take CMB route to even travel to Dubai....was very popular with Gulf going Malayali's...instead of flying to Gulf directly, people used to transit via CMB to Gulf because it was much cheaper...

Airport is an average sized airport and not a congested one...Not sure if its the same thing now or better than before.

Travelling with 2 different tickets, Air India to CMB and Qatar to ORD.
