My husband's application is rejected in VFS. But it's because of a mistake in application. He is applying again. But I think they will send it to Ministry of Foreign affairs in Delhi for a background check. But not all federal employees work for the Department of Defense kada.

They are not allowing this category to India now. Only way in is through OCI.

You need to mention if you're a federal employee and even get a letter stating your GS pay scale and salary from your organization for applying for OCI.
