Pfizer and its partner BioNTech said that while two doses may not be protective enough to prevent infection, lab tests showed a booster increased by 25-fold people's levels of virus-fighting antibodies.

Moderna said Monday its COVID-19 booster does appear to provide protection against the omicron variant. The drug company said its currently FDA-approved 50 microgram booster was found to increase neutralizing antibody levels against omicron 37-fold compared to pre-boost levels.

I don’t think so. Booster shot was released way before Omicron was spotted.

Booster shots were only meant for Delta and previous variants.....Delta itself is enough for breakthrough. Max 6months ey pani chesthunnai vaccines. Frnds of mine who were fullu vacc in Marc/April, were infected with Delta recently...so booster will help and also koncham Omicron ni kuda cover chesthundi antunnaru...not too much but serious illness, hospitalization and death rakunda prevent chesthadi...may be first couple months varake anukuntunna...after that booster effect will also die down slowly. ee lopu Spring/Summer ki inko booster shot vesukovali which covers Omicron...ee lope by fall another variant will come and this goes on and on.....hence Virus and Vaccine Manufacturers lived happily together forever and ever. Story concludes!
