Intelligent me rejected the raise in company

This is lesson for all

They want to increase my salary lol by 5% i fall in higher tax slab

Example for 100k if you are in 20% slab with this raise I fall in 25% slab

So earlier I pay 20000$ tax

Now I pay 105k = 25% = around 25600$ something

So 5k penchu 5600 tax kattala amma 😄🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

That 25% will be paid only for the money beyond 100k. 
if you’re making 150K, you pay 20% for the 100 k and 25% for the 50K. That’s how taxes are done as per my understanding
