But we need such airports.... not for civilian transport purposes but for storage, maintenance, hangars etc. Infra kavali...although all these airports which are being built now, it will take another decade at least to see a positive cash flow but infra is what we need.

What I observed is it should be planned very well to make it usable and practical..just a huge terminal with high ceilings and all are useless.  Booking to security to immigration to gate should be seamless and reachable... 

Many airports fail , they make you walk and go up/down stairs , take train etc for no reason...

Taking train and all those up/down strairs are usually observed in the airports which were built long back and have been expanding since then. Green field airports are better planned and reduce travel between the terminals or gates. Moreover, the concept of trains linking to airports is usuallu found in US airports. Most european airports other than heathrow do not have inter terminal movements even for connecting flights. Eg: Frankfurt....Modern airports like Hamad too, do not have inter terminal movements for connecting.

Please don't remind me of Heathrow....I truly truly hate that airport...

 

They make you go thru security again  and this time they strictly enforce liquid quantity, then you walk/ take a long train and their congested terminals....

 Most of the Asian bound flights don't get gates - even in severe cold weather or scorching hot they park the planes on runway and make you go by bus and climb the stairs..

As a warangal bidda we don’t need commercial airport operations but somebody in our comment said for trainings,military,maintenance and emergency landings ki use aitadi in future after 20yrs if needed they can run  50 seating embraer flights
