Population growth percentage is already decreasing in INDIA and world. After 2050 worlds population will start decreasing. So we will not need as many homes as we need today. So be careful when you are investing for ultra long term like 20 to 30 years or later.

Your analysis is  wrong. 

Only 25-30% of people live in urban areas in india now, it is expected that this figure will increase to 70-80% in 40 years.

Even if population slightly decreases that's multiple times more demand for homes for newer migrants.  

What you should be worried about investing in long term real estate is terrible legal system and nonsensical infra policies

USA ki no problem as people from other countries will come as migrants and it is a @niranthrapakriya

 

Some countries may disappear due to rising sea levels and it will increase demand for land. Ila cheppukuntu pothe, chala unnayi. 

Once population starts to decrease, govt can spend money on infrastructure and we will need more land to build infrastructure (roads, bridges, schools, parking lots, hospitals,...)
