My reasoning is it will be  the last year for this engine and specifically final version that’s getting built in Japan . 

some folks for what ever reason ascribing more value  because quality  of Japanese made 4Runner will be superior to Sanantonio built upcoming 4Runners.

i agree with you on land cruisers.

Could be but i won't bet my money on it.  Could agree on gx460 aka lc prado but then again here in us, over landing hippies don't care if it's from either of its japanese plants..

4Runner is off road vehicle to compete against jeep and bronco. it is not for regular highway and city driving.
